shocking pink December 6, 2008

I think these just may be the coolest bridesmaid’s dresses I have ever seen! The colour is not for everyone but it was perfect for mid-summer and I loved them. I used shocking pink and scented ’Jacaranda’ roses and cerise singapore orchids with lime green cordyline leaves. The stems were finished in hot pink organza and green crystal fringing.

Classic creams December 9, 2008

Some people find rose posies a bit uninspired, but the truth is that they are classics and will still look good 20 years from now in photographs. This bride chose traditional whites and creams and I added waxy stephanotis blooms to give it a gorgeous scent.
pretty peacock December 10, 2008

Absolutely everything in this wedding, from the bridesmaids’ dresses to the cake to the venue decor was some shade of purple! A mixed summer posy of singapore orchids, mauve roses, freesias, sweet peas, delphinuims, echinops, viburnum berries and deep purple lisianthus blooms, decorated with iridescent peacock feathers, aubergine ribbon and crystal trim.
aqua! January 3, 2009

Aqua was far and away one of the most popular colour schemes for weddings last year. This particular bride made her wedding unique by dressing her maids’ in white and wearing aqua herself.

blackberries and cream February 15, 2009

Just made today! I pulled the short straw and had to work the day after Valentine’s (on about four hours sleep). The yellow ‘Ilios’ roses just weren’t going to make it another day and my lovely broker Debbie sent me these gorgeous blackberries – inspiration! I love this bouquet, so much so that I would have it myself!

my bouquet August 15, 2009

Although I have made hundreds of wedding bouquets over the years, there are very few that I would actually consider having for myself, but this is one of them. It’s actually deceptively simple, just a large posy of cream and white roses with green dendrobium orchids. But the, twiggy vines, Vinca vine and Stephanotis vine turn ordinary into spectacular. This bouquet would look absolutely amazing with a classic ballgown dress. Finished it’s about 4 feet long – you definitely need your high heels on! – and a real show stopper.
